Company owner Brett Pretorius qualified as a dual tradesman in the electrical and mechanical field in 1994 in a large iron and steel factory in South Africa. He worked in a stationery and a cotton spinning textile factory as a production supervisor where he gained a production management diploma before returning to the electrical field in a family business where he discovered his passion for customer interaction and delivering a great service. After arriving in New Zealand in 2004 he again worked in a large food processing factory in the Hawkes Bay, honing skills in attending breakdowns, carrying out preventative maintenance and working as a loss and waste co-ordinator before starting Brett-Tech Electrical in 2017.
Based in Hawkes Bay, Brett-Tech Electrical is a member of Master Electricians and Brett is a registered New Zealand electrician with the Electrical Worker Registration Board. Brett-Tech Electrical works on projects for a range of residential and industrial clients from Napier all the way to Waipukurua.
